About the Company
Bloomex offers a wide variety of flower arrangements, gourmet gift baskets, as well as many special offers. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my flowers were perfect upon arrival, even though I live in Northern Manitoba. Regardless of being 6-8 hours away from any major city, the delivery was exceptionally fast. Bloomex, being one of the largest florist companies in Canada, buys products directly from growers and suppliers. This allows the elimination of wholesalers, therefore providing us with a longer-lasting flower arrangement.
The products are then prepared through Bloomex's own production facilities, which has expanded to eight different places in Canada: Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary & Vancouver. In addition to selling flower arrangements, Bloomex also offers luxury spa baskets, delicious gourmet foods, balloons, and various other gift items.
The History Behind Bloomex
Bloomex was originally established in March of 1999, when the founder bought a small flower shop in Toronto, called "Ampal Flowers." In December of 2005, Bloomex had three production facilities in Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal. A year later, they placed two more production facilities in Calgary and Vancouver. Gourmet gift baskets were introduced in 2009, and in 2010 they opened another production facility in Edmonton. In 2012, Bloomex's one millionth customer had been successfully served. This fast expanding company is determined to serve customers with high quality flowers for fair prices.
